Hemerocallis Kwanzo: Kaempfer 1712 - Trip - D - Double.

Hemerocallis Kwanzo

  • Hemerocallis Kwanzo. The flowers are deep orange in colour, leading to a red eyezone and then to a orange/yellow throat. The flowers of this plant are double, but quite often triple. The flowers measure up to 14cms in diameter, and 92cms in height. The foliage is dormant and will die down over the winter months.

    First introduced in 1712, this plant is of Triploid form.

    These plants will be available for posting from Spring 2020.




    International postage on seeds is €4.25, and 50 cents per extra packet. Large orders will be priced separately.


    All seeds are sent out first class mail and in padded envelopes.




    Iris and Hemerocallis. These rhizomes or fans are sent out in boxes, 5 to a box.


    Postage Costs for Plants: 

    Up to 1kg. By Mondial Relay / Hermes is €10.95.  1 to 5 plants.

    Up to 2kg. By Mondial Relay / Hermes is €12.95.   5 to 10 plants.




    We pack extremely carefully and post all plants on a Monday, unless there is a Bank Holiday that week. We can not take responsibility for damage by the post office.


    All orders for plants are sent by Mondial Relay or Hermes.  A tracking number and date posted will be forward to you. ( we can not take responsibility from that time of posting).

    Unfortunately, we can not send plants to the United States, Canada or Australia, only seeds. We cannot send seeds or plants to Brazil.
